Definition of ABS

ABS

1.  Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene. ABS is a common oil-based filament material used in 3D printing.

More Information:
ABS requires a heated bed and works reasonably well without cooling. It is more flexible and tolerances are usually tighter with ABS compared to other filament materials. However, ABS filament can produce unpleasant fumes in enclosed areas and is easily prone to cracking, delamination, and warping.
