Glossary Laybrick

Definition of Laybrick

Laybrick
1.  A filament material used in 3D printing that is composed of natural mineralic filters (super-fine milled chalk) and harmless co-polyesters. Objects created with Laybrick have a "sandstone-like" texture with no plastic feeling.
More Information:
Some major advantages of laybrick filament include near-zero warping and the ability to paint and/or grind the finished product. This type of material is ideal for jumbo-sized printers and no heated bed is required when using this type of filament.
