stack-down|stack-up
1.  "Stack", "group", or "batch" feature that enables several bins of the sorter to act as receiving trays. e.g. continuing the stacking of original #1's copies from bin #1 to bins #2 and #3, then stacking original #2's copies into bins #4, #5, and #6, etc., so that the bin capacity can be exceeded.
