Definition of print server

print server
1.  A computer or device that is connected to one or more printers and to client computers over a network, and can accept print jobs from the computers and send the jobs to the appropriate printers.
More Information:
The server's system RAM and hard drive are used to store print jobs in the queue. Print jobs can be reordered, paused, or deleted from the server's keyboard.
