HEPA
1.  Acronym for High Efficiency Particulate Air. A HEPA filter is a type of filter that is composed of fiberglass and has a diameter anywhere from 0.5 up to 2.0 micrometers.
More Information:
HEPA filters are designed to remove 99.97% of particles that have a size of 0.3 micrometers. Some examples of HEPA filter applications include vehicle use, air purifiers, and vacuum cleaner equipment.
