Definition of EPS
- EPS

1. An acronym for encapsulated PostScript file. An EPS file is a standalone, self-contained PostScript file that describes the contents of a printed page. EPS files can be scaled to any size, and they are commonly exchanged by desktop publishing and graphics professionals, publishers, and printing houses. Many clip art libraries on CD-ROM and the Web offer graphics in EPS format.
