The Dell 1700n is a network ready monochrome laser printer, ideal for an office network. The monthly duty max is rated at 15,000 pages, giving it the ability to keep up with a busy office environment. Standard print resolution is 1200x1200 dpi; this produces documents with sharp lines and crisp text. Documents are produced on the 1700n in up to 25 pages-per-minute.

Paper handling is flexible on the Dell 1700n. The standard paper capacity starts with the 250-sheet drawer; and is upgradable to 800 sheets with the additional tray. The single-sheet bypass tray is ideal for printing on letterhead, envelopes, and cardstock. The Precision premium compatible 1700N high-yield black toner (310-7025) is available for the Dell 1700n. It has an estimated page yield of 6,000 at 5 percent coverage.
