When all options are utilized the Savin 816 turns a standard copier into a multifunctional system ideal for the small office. With a first copy time of 7.5 seconds and a multi-copy time of 16 ppm the Savin 816 delivers sharp, detailed documents. This monochrome machine was tested by Buyers Lab, Inc. and proved to be resilient and dependable winning it the “Pick of the Year†award in 2007.
Standard paper capacity is 250 sheets and there is an additional 100-sheet bypass tray that comes with the Savin 816. The option of adding a 500-sheet tray is available to raise the capacity to its maximum—850 sheets.
The drum unit (Savin 411844 / Type 1515) for the Savin 816 will yield an estimated 45,000 pages. The toner cartridge will need replaced after yielding an estimated 7,000 pages at 6 percent coverage. The black toner cartridge (Savin 9906) is available in either the genuine Savin brand or Precision compatible.
