Lanier introduced the LD420C in 2007; it is a multifunctional machine from the start. Capabilities include copier, printer, and scanner modes. Multiple copies on the Lanier LD420C are dispersed at a rate of 20 pages-per-minute in both bold black and white and vivid color. The standard Ethernet connection allows multiple users to access the machine; the LD420C is compatible with both PC and Mac systems. A wireless option is available as well.
Scanner features are versatile with the option to scan-to-email, scan-to-folder, and scan-to-URL, helping you to stay productive. Images are scanned quickly on the Lanier LD420C; black and white documents are scanned at a rate of 50 images-per-minute whereas color media is scanned at 35 images-per-minute. Pictures can be printed directly from your digital camera, which is a user-friendly feature.
Toner is needed in black (480-0378), cyan (480-0379), magenta (480-0380), and yellow (480-0381). There is a choice between the premium compatible and genuine Lanier brand when purchasing replacement toner. The black toner has the highest yield estimated at 20,000 pages; each color has an approximate yield of 15,000 pages (when averaging 5 percent coverage).
