Like the Gestetner DSm627, the DSm627sp is a quick printing, efficient copier; it has the added benefit of coming equipped with print and scan capabilities from the start. There is the option to add the fax feature if desired to complete the all-in-one label. Print quality is detailed and sharp; speeds are quick, too. First copies are dispersed in 4.9 seconds and multiple copies at 27 ppm.

Paper handling is flexible; the Gestetner DSm627sp has two 500-sheet paper drawers as a standard feature and there are additional optional drawers available if needed. The large capacity tray option has the ability to hold 2,000 sheets. The duplex unit makes it simple to make two-sided documents; this will help cut down on paper consumption.

The Gestetner DSm627sp uses a toner cartridge (408-0068) that will need to be replaced at approximately 11,000 pages with an average of 6 percent page coverage. The toner is available in both the genuine Gestetner brand and Precision compatible. The drum unit (411018) for this machine will yield an estimated 60,000 pages; the developer is included in the unit.
