Canon developed the imagePROGRAF iPF840 for CAD environments. This 44” large-format printer provides professional printing to engineering, construction, and architecture firms. One great feature on the Canon imagePROGRAF iPF840 is that you are able to replace ink tanks during print jobs. This allows continuous printing of large projects at speeds up to 42 seconds for A0 plain paper in economy mode.
The Canon imagePROGRAF iPF840 is able to handle various widths of paper up to 44 inches. Automatic paper switching results in high production printing without the need for someone to manually change paper sources. Ink cartridges for the Canon imagePROGRAF iPF840 are needed in black (PFI-706 BK), matte black (PFI-706 MBK), cyan (PFI-706 C), magenta (PFI-706 M), and yellow (PFI-706 Y). These ink cartridges hold 700 ml to extend the time between replacements.
