The monochrome Lanier MP 3555SP was released in February, 2017. It is a quick printer, copier, and scanner with optional fax capabilities. Print speeds start with a first copy out time of 4.3 seconds and multiple copies being delivered at 35 pages per minute. PDF direct print, mail to print, standard USP/SD card slot, and universal print driver are all standard features. Other finishing options for the Lanier MP 3555SP include 250-sheet staple-less finisher, booklet, V-folding, and optional punch units. Paper handling can also be increased from the 550-sheet standard drawer and 100-sheet bypass tray to a 6-source, 4,750 sheet max.

The large toner yield extends the time between replacements, keeping production up. Black toner (842124) used on the Lanier MP 3555SP has an approximate yield of 24,000 pages at 6 percent coverage. The black drum (D1979510) also has a high yield estimated at 120,000 pages.
