Reduction -
Also known as Reduc. The act of decreasing or reducing made less in size or amount or degree.

See full definition of Reduction

Reed switch -
A mechanical switch with no visible moving parts. Inside the housing are two filaments. One is iron. When a magnet is brought close to the filament, it moves enough to make or break contact with the other one, thus completing or opening a circuit. T

See full definition of Reed switch

Refined Printing Command System -
See RPCS.

Registration sensor -
Sensor that notifies the copier that the scan has traveled a certain distance and that secondary feed should begin.

See full definition of Registration sensor

Remaining jobs -
You can check which jobs are waiting in memory and cancel jobs individually.

See full definition of Remaining jobs

Remanu -
Remanufactured as determined by manufacturer.

See full definition of Remanu

Remanufactured -
A recycled concept by which an existing product can have its useful life extended through a secondary manufacturing.

See full definition of Remanufactured
